How to know if I am an oily skin type

Knowing your skin type is very important in order to properly care for your skin. Oily skin is characterised by having a greasy feeling to the touch, having enlarged pores, and often having breakouts or blemishes. To determine if you have oily skin, you can try the “blotting test”. All you need is a tissue or a blotting paper. Gently blot your skin and if the tissue or paper has oil on it, then your skin type is oily. You can also look in a mirror to see if your skin appears to have a visible layer of oil on it. Oily skin types generally have a shiny appearance most of the day and night. If your skin feels oily in the am & pm then you’re probably an oily skin type.
